FLL 2020: Attachment for FLL 2020 RePLAY Basketball mission
With this LEGO Education SPIKE Prime attachment we accomplish the basketball mission from the FIRST LEGO League 2020 RePlay competition. The goal of the mission is to put the ball into the basket and to have the basket up at the end of the round. This is a complex attachment. It uses gear wheels and warm gears to transfer the power from the motor to the top of the attachment. At the top of the attachment there is a wheel with a rope. The rope is build with LEGO Education SPIKE Prime parts. If you have the chance, use a different LEGO rope, but if you don't that this one will be ok.

FLL 2018: Mission run of M01 and M02, (Supply Payload) in FIRST LEGO League 2018 Into Orbit. Review.
This is the first run of Team "Nightbeast", with which they solve M01 and M02 from FIRST LEGO League 2019 Into Orbit:
- Starts with the Vehicle Payload
- Places the Supply and Crew Payloads and rolls them to east.

This FIRST LEGO League robotics video tutorial is about the Treadmill mission and how it could be accomplished. The mission is from FLL 2020 RePlay competition. Almost every year there is a mission of this type where the robot must spend a lot of time with the mission model in order to turn or lift something. These are quite interesting and challenging missions.

How to arrive at a specific position on the FLL field with LEGO Education SPIKE Prime
This is one of the last tutorials in the LEGO Education SPIKE Prime programming for Competitions course and it demonstrates what we've all been waiting for - how to reach a mission model from base in a reliable and consistent way when the mission model is on the other end of the field. Naturally what we use are all the different concepts that we've learned in the course and the tutorial is more advanced than the other so if anything is not clear take a look also at the different tutorials an concepts in the course.

10 out of 10 on arriving at a specific position on the FLL field with LEGO Education SPIKE Prime
Using everything that we've learned about LEGO Education SPIKE Prime competition programming we arrive at the final boss mission - how do we consistently reach a mission model at the other end of the field. Consistently. Every time. We use line following, motion sensor, counting of lines and border alignment. All the different concepts that we've looked at separately are now implemented together.

Robot Accuracy when moving fast VS moving slow on an FLL competition field with LEGO MINDSTORMS Robot Inventor
In this video tutorial we use a LEGO MINDSTORMS Robot inventor robot and we do an experiment and a demonstration with it. We demonstrate what is the difference in the consistency and accuracy of the robot when we move slow and when we move fast. For FLL, WRO competitions there is always this balance between moving fast and moving slow.

FLL 2021: 10 out of 10 on how to accomplish the Platooning Trucks mission
In this 10 out of 10 tutorial, we accomplish the Platooning Trucks from FIRST LEGO League (FLL) 2021-2022. The goal of the mission is to connect the trucks to each other and both of them to the bridge. The attachment and the robot pushes the trucks and we do it 10 times to see the consistency and reliability of the robot.

FLL 2021: Error tolerance demonstrated with Accident Avoidance
What if the robot could make a mistake and still accomplish the mission? That is what we demonstrate with this tutorial - a few principles for error tolerance and self-correction. Even though we start the robot from a few different places, we manage to complete the mission with the same program every time. FLL 2021: Use of motion and color sensors for a three-part mission - How to accomplish the Train Tracks mission
This tutorial explains the use of motion and light/color sensors to accomplish a complex mission split into three parts. It gets into detail about how we keep a straight line with the motion sensor, follow a line with the color sensors, and transition between different parts of the program by aligning and detecting lines with the sensor. The goal is to get to a reliable and consistent behavior of the robot. On top of that, it is configurable, as we've left a few parameters that could be set to configure the behavior for a specific robot, venue, lighting, battery level, and wheels friction.

FLL 2024: Collect, Lift - Nautiq accomplishing M06, M07
This video tutorial focuses on accomplishing M06 Raise the Mast and M07 Kraken’s Treasure of the FIRST LEGO League 2024-2025 SUBMERGED Challenge using the Nautiq box robot (a LEGO Education SPIKE Prime robot). The run uses a pinless attachment connected to the bottom of the robot, featuring side guides with stoppers for precise mast lifting and a central rubberized section to catch the treasure chest.
The challenge in this run is to collect the treasure before raising the mast fully, as the mission model locks the chest if the mast is lifted too far too soon. The robot must push and lift with great precision, stopping at exactly the right point to avoid triggering the lock, then continue raising the mast to complete the mission. This sequence demonstrates careful mechanical design, accurate programming, and precise timing to accomplish two interconnected missions in one smooth run.

FLL 2024: 10 out of 10 on Collect, Lift - Nautiq accomplishing M06, M07

The robot first secures the treasure chest before fully raising the mast, avoiding the mechanism that would otherwise lock the chest in place.
