In this video tutorial, we demonstrate how to complete M12, M13, and M15 of the FIRST LEGO League 2023-2024 MASTERPIECE Challenge. We use the MiniBox, a robot built from LEGO Education SPIKE Prime.

To complete the missions, the robot rotates the chicken to trigger the M12 Virtual Reality Artist, pushes the M13 Craft Creator to release the creation, and collects the M15 LEGO minifigure. After completing all tasks, the robot detaches its attachment and leaves it on the field for a faster change at the base. Let's take a look!

Kufar is an out-of-the-box LEGO Education SPIKE Prime robot, meaning you don’t need to connect attachments—just slide the brick into the attachment frames.

This video is part of a series where we show you how our Box Robot accomplished the M07 Swing mission 10 times. This mission has a black and white line parallel right next to it, the only thing you need to figure out is how to avoid the first supporting beam of the swing. The Dominator robot waits to be clear of the beam and then uses the x-y movement of its front mottors to position the lever so it pushes the swing loose. After that the robot moves back and is ready for action again.

The M08. AEROBIC EXERCISE is one of the very common types of mission in FIRST LEGO League robotics competitions. I think this pattern of missions was first introduced with the growing abilities of the participating students that were constantly reaching the maximum number of points. This video tutorial had a different idea than what we recorded. We planned for a push/pull attachment as we've shown such attachments for LEGO Education SPIKE PRIME and LEGO MINDSTORMS EV3. However, the issues with LEGO MINDSTORMS Robot Inventor set 51515 is that we could not figure out an easy way to build a push pull attachment that meets our criteria for an attachment. Because of this we made a slight modification on the idea and it is again push/pull attachment but not moving in a line but in a circle - circular movement.
