This is the 10 out of 10 version of executing 3 missions in a single run. It worked like a charm! 10 times. We push and collect energy units for the FIRST LEGO League 2022-2023 SUPERPOWERED Challenge competition.

In this video tutorial, we are doing a 10 out of 10 on accomplishing three missions: the Watch Television from the FIRST LEGO League SUPERPOWERED, 2022/2023, the Rechargeable Battery that we must return to base, and the Wind Turbine, where we must collect three energy batteries. We must collect them with the robot and return to base. We are using our Chain Monster robot with this gliding pinless attachment. 10 out of 10. Let's start. We start from base. And now I have to warn you: This is the most boring 10 out of 10 that we've ever recorded because the robot accomplishes the missions every time. Nothing interesting. It doesn't glitch even for a second anywhere. I was looking at this tutorial for six minutes, 37 seconds. It's quite long, but it's our tradition. We accomplish the missions 10 out of 10. We don't stop the camera, we run the robot, and we try to record and explain, and provide some value added commentary on what's happening on the field. Nothing interesting today. So, we move, we take one of the batteries, we rotate, we push four times the wind turbine, and we collect all the three energy batteries, and return back to base. In the base, we remove them by hand, then we align to the field. Again, we align the robot, we align it to the border of the field and the end of the mat, and we start again. That's it. And we do this for 10 times, 11 times, I think, it's enough to prove that this is a consistent and a reliable robot. But a few interesting things that I prefer to share now. And in some of the next tutorials, we will try to accomplish the same three missions, but with a different robot. This robot here is called the Chain Monster. We are doing something interesting this year. [You can see that here I'm playing with the dinosaur because it's so boring. It's so consistent and reliable.] We are trying to review the competition, the SUPERPOWERED competition, with two different robots. By the end of the review, you will have examples with two different box robots with many different attachments for these robots. The next time when you start the competition, you can get some inspiration from a few different robots and attachments and how they've accomplished the competition. In some of the next tutorials we'll record the other robot, which is the Kriket robot. Now, at the time of the recording, it's somewhere on the front page of FLLCasts. For now, it will stay there along with this Chain Monster. I think this is like the fifth accomplishment or the fourth. I don't know. We are just waiting for them to be complete. Another interesting thing for the wind turbine, as we discuss in the tutorial, we push it four times just to make sure that if for some reason the mission model, not the robot, the mission model will glitch (and this never happened to us, but we've seen that it happens to other teams)... And because it could happen to other teams for various reasons, we've decided, Okay, let's add this backup move that will push one more time. And if there is a glitch, it will reset and it will collect all the batteries, all the three batteries. Align again in the base and start. Start with the robot.
Move, and we accomplish. Another interesting thing for this mission is that we don't use the light sensors here. There is an opportunity here to align to these black lines that we see, but we've decided not to use the light sensor because we don't need it. We use the motion sensor, we use the rotation sensor, but not the light sensor. This is important because, okay, you can move with the light sensors, but in this particular case, you can skip this. And the robot is still consistent and reliable only with the motion sensor. Here you can see in the wind turbine that when the robot approaches the wind turbine, when it pushes, it goes slightly to the right, and then it returns. I think this is because of the way we push the wind turbine. We could probably remove this effect, but do we really want to? No, because it doesn't have an impact on the behavior and the consistency of the robot. It's cool. It's cool. The robot is working. The attachment is quite nice. We are quite happy with the attachment. We had this attachment and similar attachments for the box robots from the EV3 era, the MINDSTORMS era, which were some of the best box robots that we built. This one is quite nice, the Chain Monster. The attachment follows the same principles there. It is a frame, and on the frame, you can easily glide it, and then you can add different mechanisms to this frame. This allows you to build really powerful attachments that you can quickly put on the robot and then let them run. That's it for this tutorial, last run. In this last run, 10 out of 10 every single time. I'm really happy with this tutorial and the way the robot turned out. I hope this is helpful. I hope this is helpful as a review. In the next tutorials, we'll enter into some more details of the competition.

FIRST LEGO League 2022-2023 Super Powered solutions and review with Chain Monster box robot from LEGO Education SPIKE Prime
In this course, we demonstrate and explain example solutions for the FIRST LEGO League 2022-2023 Super Powered competition. Every year, we share our solutions and our comments only after the season is over. The course is centred around MULTIPLE MISSIONS in a single run which is unique. We see runs with 3, 4 and even 5 missions. Then we enter into details around accomplishing the specific missions. You can follow the course, and as you go through each mission, try to replicate the solutions to understand the programs and explanations. This teaches students and teachers the principles of accomplishing missions in every FLL robotics competition and how to help your team score more points.
Before starting this course, we suggest you go through the FIRST LEGO League robot game guide
There is an additional course that does a review for the same competition but with a different robot - the Kriket box robots. It present other principles of building attachments and shows different examples. Check out the other course also.
