This course is a collection of materials for many of the attachments that we've built at FLLCasts before introducing courses. The videos were built as separate different attachments for different competitions and with the following course, we try to give it a structure.

We are improving the Rubber band attachment with a Flywheel by introducing a few small, but important modifications that make the whole robot attachment more stable and reliable. With the conclusion of the series this attachment could be used as a basis for some very interesting STEM demonstrations on energy accumulation and conservation.

In this video tutorial we would look at the mission run for M09. STRENGTH EXERCISE. The mission is to lift a heavy object in the air. And that could a complex mission. It requires to use gear wheel and the attachment should be quite strong. The tutorial contains only the mission run on the field. We accomplish a single mission.
This is the forth type of an active geared attachment. "Active" means that is is power by a motor. "Geared" means that it uses gears. "Reusable" means that you can easily extend the attachment with additional parts - eg - you can reuse it. It shows a basic principle of how power is transferred between different axles that have different orientation in space - like when one of the axles is horizontal and the other is vertical. We call active attachments those that are powered with a motor. This one is in the the mission of lifting levers which is common at robotics competitions like FIRST LEGO League/World Robotics Olympiad. This is an Inertia triggered attachment build with a LEGO MINDSTORMS Robot Inventor 51515 set. With this attachment we can collect different parts and bring them back to base at FIRST LEGO League competitions. The principle is useful as no additional motors are required for activating this attachment. In the same time it is active which means that it moves and can change it's position in space separately from the robot.. which is useful

This attachment for the Nautiq robot is designed to accomplish M15 Research Vessel in the FIRST LEGO League 2024‑2025 SUBMERGED competition. It includes one detachable part: the hook is removed after collecting the Research Vessel, and the remaining part is used to deliver it to its target location.
