This is a 10 out of 10 video tutorial that is different from the rest. We demonstrate how difficult it is to accomplish a mission and we use an attachment that is working 5 out of 10 times. Our goal with the video is to give everybody the understanding that taking your time to accomplish a mission is the right thing. Most of the 10 out of 10 tutorials at FLLCasts contain solutions and approaches that are working in a repeatable fashion. Not this one. See how difficult it is to accomplish a mission and that we also make mistakes.

The goal of the FIRST LEGO League 2020 RePlay competition mission called Bench is to lower the bench, drop 4 boxes in place and return with part of the bench back to base. It is a three steps mission and we have to think about all the three aspects of it. The reason why this solution was not working is basically the rubber bands. Rubber bands could be quite powerful with LEGO Education SPIKE Prime, LEGO Mindstorms Robot Inventor or LEGO Mindstorms EV3 sets, but they are sometimes unpredictable.

FIRST LEGO League 2020-2021 RePlay Solutions and review with SPIKE Prime
This course presents Solutions and Review of the FIRST LEGO League 2020-2021 RePlay competition. We do such a course every year after the competition. By moving through the course lessons, building the robot and attachment and completing the missions you will learn how to achieve FLL mission following good engineering principles for building robots, attachments and developing programs. Upon completion of the course you will have many new ideas about how to approach mission on every FLL robotics competition and how to help your team score more points.
