In this video tutorial, we demonstrate a configurable attachment used for accomplishing a FIRST LEGO League 2021-2022 Cargo Connect mission called Sorting Center. The mission model has three cargo objects that are placed randomly. The attachment is configured before the run based on the configuration of the cargo objects. This attachment is also very powerful as it aligns and auto-corrects the errors that the robot is making by squaring the robot.
This is a 10 out of 10 video tutorial demonstrating the consistency and reliability of a configurable attachment. The attachment is designed to accomplish the FIRST LEGO League 2021-2022 Cargo Connect mission model called Sorting Center. The mission model has 3 cargo objects that could be placed in a different way. The attachment is configurable and before the run we configure it for the specific way in which the mission model is set up before the start of the round.
This is the robot that we use to demonstrate a solution for competition. This is a Post season solution. We never release any solutions during the season as this will have a negative impact on the competition. But after the competition we try to make a review and to see how we could have accomplish it. Our goal is to be better for next year.
This robot is quite powerful. The attachment mechanism on the front is one of a kind as it can do several things with a single motor: it can lift, it can unlock, it can grab. All of this thanks to the unique mechanism of gears
Building instructions for a LEGO Mindstorms EV3 Ambulance Robot Attachment for the FIRST LEGO League 2013 Nature's Fury robotics competition. The attachment grabs the ambulance car and slightly lifts it. The rubber bands help with triggering the attachment at the right time

This robot is designed to easily lift a cup while still holding it upright. With its motor attached to the side of the hub, the robot can lift the cup to any angle you want. You could replace the LEGO cup and make it lift real cups with a few adjustments. Be careful around liquids though, the robot doesn't like beverages like you do!
These are building instructions for one of the greatest LEGO Mindstorms attachments that we've built. Super simple and easy to follow and at the end, you have an attachment with a rubber band that controls a lever and that could lift objects from the field. It could lift them up. Also because it is with a rubber band you don't need a motor and you could use the motor for other attachments.
When you need a LEGO robot attachment to lift heavy things on the competition field. Probably at FIRST LEGO League or World Robotics Olympiad. This attachment uses 4-5 gear wheels to lift a heavy object.

This is an 8 bar lifting robot. Way should I build this instead of Roberto bot you ask? Because it is... well... it lift thing straight up, it lift 'em higher, it's more beautiful than Roberto and is more bad ass looking than 4 bar lifting mechanism. OOoohhh, and one more thing it may use the same program as Roberto Bot With Four Bars Lifting Mechanism.

This is a robot attachment that could be used to lift object. The gear ratio of this attachment is allows it to lift Heavy objects. Nice idea. Lift the other robot and throw it in the air. Not easy, but Varna is trying to do it. It's a quite powerful robot with small wheels and gear ratio of x3. This means the power is increased 3 time from the motor to the wheel.
Surely you can work with it and even improve it.
This is the Little Truckie, but upgraded with an arm so it can teach you to be a good driver with lager number of controls. Now you can drive it and lift things at the same time.

Dominator is a compact LEGO Mindstorms EV3 Box robot from the family of the Roller Coaster and Kiddo box robots. Similar to the previous two robots, Dominator also can move its front part up, down, left and right. This robot also has the same length of movement as its two predecessors of this type - 8 LEGO pins on the side and up.
The difference is that Dominator has fewer parts and has a perfect center of weight that allows it to use large attachments and lift heavy objects without threatening its stability. The movement on the X and Y axes has the same gear ratio. The light sensors are attached to the movable part of the robot which enables it to both follow a line and recognize the color of various object with height lower than 7 LEGO units.
This attachment have a guider mechanism that align the robot to the attachment. The attachment woks with SUV Box Robot.

This construction demonstrates one way of using а rack with a gear wheel. It allows to turn circular motion in to a liniar one.
