FLL 2023: Push, Press Down, Collect - Chain Monster box robot accomplishing M01, M02, M14

This video tutorial focuses on M01, M02, and M14 of the FIRST LEGO League 2023-2024 MASTERPIECE Challenge. The Chain Monster box robot (a LEGO Education SPIKE Prime robot) uses a single attachment to accomplish all three missions in sequence. First, it pushes the mission model, then presses down the next one, and finally collects some mini-figures.

One is to go in front of the model and use “hands” to drag the levers.

The other is to reach the model from the side and turn the lever to show the dragon.

Mechanical technology can support a theater performance by seamlessly changing the scenery, keeping the audience focused on the story.

Change the scenery to a different configuration, and consider what the other team will do so that you end with matching scenes.

• If your theater’s red flag is down and the active scene color is: Blue: 10; Pink: 20; Orange: 30
• Bonus: And if both teams’ active scenes match: Blue: 20 ADDED Pink: 30 ADDED Orange: 10 ADDED

Teams may activate only their own model.

It is not possible to earn the bonus in remote competitions or if there is no opposing team.

To solve this mission, you should negotiate with the other team in advance about which color should point to the lever.

When you start the program to solve this mission, you should have the option to set the number of times the lever should be pressed.

You can use an active attachment with a motor to press the lever or a passive attachment with a sloped beam or panel to hit the lever and press it down.

Deliver the seven audience members to the target destinations.
