FLL 2023: Loop, Press down, Collect - MiniBox Box Robot accomplishing M02, M15
In this video tutorial, the MiniBox box robot is accomplishing M02 and M15 of the FIRST LEGO League 2023-2024 MASTERPIECE Challenge robotics competition. This robot is a LEGO Education SPIKE Prime robot that uses a detachable attachment and rubber band mechanism to achieve its goals.
When the robot presses down the mission model, it activates the detachable attachment which disconnects from the robot and triggers the rubber band mechanism, allowing it to collect the minifigure.
We know this attachment may seem a bit complex, but after a few tries, you'll definitely enjoy working with it!

FLL 2021: Keep a straight line and push - How to accomplish the Unload Cargo Ship mission
In this video tutorial, we use the Unload Cargo Ship mission from FIRST LEGO League 2021 Cargo Connect robotics competition to demonstrate how we program the robot to keep a straight line while moving. Do we need that for this mission? Probably not, but we do it either way to demonstrate the solution in a fairly simple mission. The program uses the motion sensor to auto-correct the errors the robot is making while moving.

FLL 2020: How to accomplish Tire Flip mission
This video tutorial is for the Tire Flip Mission from FIRST LEGO League 2020 RePlay robotics competition. Flip missions are always some of the most interesting and challenging. In this tutorial you would learn how to build an attachment and accomplish a mission that requires you to flip a part, like flipping a coin. Most of the complexity for this mission is in the attachment and not the programming, but this is also way it works perfectly, every single time.

FLL 2020: 10 out of 10 on how to accomplish the Boccia Target mission with LEGO Mindstorms Robot Inventor
This is a 10 out of 10 video recording about the FIRST LEGO League 2020 RePlay competition and the mission called Boccia Target. We are using LEGO Mindstroms Robot Inventor. The 10 out of 10 recording shows how reproducible the solution to the mission is. You will see a demonstration of a complex attachment that does 3-4 things at once - it alights, pushes, drops, which are all things that are commonly seen at FLL competitions.

FLL 2023: Push, Rubber Band, Lever - MiniBox Box Robot accomplishing M06, M07, M14, M15

It may seem challenging to achieve all of this in a single run, but with careful planning and solid programming, success is within reach! The robot is a LEGO Education SPIKE Prime box robot, equipped with rubber bands and various mechanisms. Since this is our final run, we can leave the robot on the mat, saving some time. FLL 2023: 10 out of 10 Deliver, Push, Lift - Kufar out-of-box robot accomplishing M03, M15, M11, M04
This is a 10 out of 10 video tutorial, in which we demonstrate how Kufar, a LEGO Education SPIKE Prime out-of-box robot, accomplishes M03, M15, M11, and M04 of the FIRST LEGO League 2023-2024 MASTERPIECE Challenge season ten times in a row!
As we said in the previous tutorial, Kufar executes several complex moves while navigating the mat. At the front, the robot features a scissor-like attachment triggered by rubber bands. At the back, there is a mechanism that carries a couple of mini-figures and the M04 art piece. Enjoy!

FLL 2021: Push with an attachment - How to accomplish the Transportation Journey mission
In this video tutorial, we push two of the mission models with a pinless active attachment with gears. The goal is to push the mission models after the blue lines. This attachment is interesting as it demonstrates a non-straightforward idea of how we can push the mission models. We explain the Scratch program and how we use the motion sensors - you will learn how to turn to a specific angle by using the motion sensor.

The idea of the mission is to control the robot in a very precise way so that it could slowly push on the mission model and accomplish it. In the tutorial we demonstrated exactly this slow push, but in a different way.

Different power sources for the Raspberry PI and the motors
We have two power sources (batteries) - one power source is for the controller, the Raspberry PI, and one power source is for the motors. What is the separation between the power sources and why it exists? Why do we need two power sources? We need the different power sources because there is not enough power otherwise.
