Building instructions for a LEGO Mindstorms Base Chassis with a reversible motor
Note: This robot contains wheels that are from the NXT set.
The rotation frame requiers an NXT large double gear wheel that is not available at the EV3 set. You can use the instructions below to construct a similar mechanism from Mindstorms EV3 set
Building instructions for the catapult that could be placed over the LEGO Mindstorms EV3 Brick. The idea of the catapult it to throw objects. The fact that it is over the brick makes it very convenient to place the motors below the brick and to use the Catapult.
This robot construction itself was used in the FIRST LEGO League Senior Solutions competition
This frame holds the motor and ev3 brick used in the catapult. The frame is placed on top of the rotating base and thus could be easily rotated. The brick could be both NXT and EV3
Active robot attachment for the LEGO Mindstorms EV3 Box robot chassis. The attachment is placed on the top of the robot and uses a system of two gear wheels to transfer the motion to a lever and to .... lift things.
For the FIRST LEGO League 2016-2017 Animal Allies we prepared an attachment for lifting the robot. The idea of the attachment is to show how you could lift the whole robot with a system of gear wheels, levers, and scissors constructions.
Built mainly from LEGO Mindstorms EV3 parts but could probably be constructed from NXT sets.
Example of making turn using only one motor

Program for displaying the value of the sensor on the screen
- download the source of a program that tells the color the robot is seeing.
