Maze Runners are one of the very popular robotics competitions. But there are a lot of limits that the robots must comply with. Like the size of the robot. 

This here are building instructions for a very small maze runner robot, build with LEGO Mindstorms EV3. It uses two tires that are technic and not Mindstorms simply because none of the Mindstorms tires fit the size limit. 

The robot has an Ultrasonic sensor and a Gyro sensor at the top. 

Take a motorcycle and start removing parts. You get a chopper. Like this one. It is built with LEGO Mindstorms EV3. It has one large and one medium motor. Currently, the motorcycle has no sensors. It's more of an exercise in construction, but if you attach sensors and think of a way to attach them send us a picture.

This is version 2 of the LEGO Mindstorms Grabber. It makes use of 4 gears to make both levers active.  

Building instructions for the LEGO Mindstorms EV3 Catapult. The robot has a motor, a clutch to control it for manual shooting and a touch sensor for automatic loading. The bottom base is removed which means the Catapult could not be turned around. Nevertheless, the baseless robot is small enough to be built in class.

The goal of these building instructions is to build a simple LEGO Mindstorms EV3 robot without wheels. You should then think of yourself how exactly to add the wheel. This is a version of the Midas - a LEGO Mindstorms EV3 Clam robot. The main difference between the two robots is that the motors are flipped. 

The robot uses two Large Mindstorms EV3 Motors to open and close its shell. There are four hoses on the top of the shell which can be reshaped to form different shell styles. It also uses two black bent beams for eyebrows that can be moved to change the expression of the clam. A Castor Ball is used to represent its pearl.

This module is made as a grabber that uses a cool mechanism to catch things vertically. It is powered by a medium motor. The grabber is used in Earl Bot - Grabbing and Clearing LEGO Mindstorms Robot without wheels.

This is another LEGO Mindstorms grabber, but this time it has 4 fingers! They are moved simultaneously by a medium motor. The grabber was taken from Cron - LEGO Mindstorms EV3 Crane.

This module is made to look and move like the beak of a bird! It uses two technic steering links powered by a medium motor to close and open! It can be combined with other modules to make the best bird robot! This module is a part of Lintu - a LEGO Mindstorms EV3 Kiwi bird robot.

This is a module that is made to look like a mantis' pincers and head. The pincers are powered by a medium motor and the head has an ultrasonic sensor for eyes. This module is used in Mantissa, a LEGO Mindstorms EV3 mantis robot.

This module is made to look and move like a real ship's sails! The module consists of two masts that are connected so that they move together. The back mast is connected to a medium motor that can move all sails and is also connected to a gyro sensor, that can detect if the whole ship is rotated. This module is used in Yolanda - LEGO Mindstorms EV3 Sailship robot.

This is a module that looks like a fish's head. It uses a touch sensor for a mouth and is otherwise purely cosmetic. The module is used in Piscis - a LEGO Mindstorms EV3 Fish robot.
