Your team’s minecart must pass completely through the mineshaft entry to score points for this mission.
It is not possible to earn the bonus if there is no opposing team or in remote competitions.
In this mission, you must send the archaeologist to the other team’s field. Simply lift the platform with the archaeologist carefully, and you’re done. But remember — strategy matters! If the opposing team has already completed M03 and their archaeologist is in your field, you can deliver it to the M14 Forum to earn an extra 5 points. This combination works only if both teams complete M03 early in the game.
You can also combine this mission with M04 Careful Recovery. Just lift the platform all the way up once the archaeologist is in the other field, and then pull the artifact out of the mine.
We strongly encourage fair play — teamwork, respect, and good sportsmanship make the game fun for everyone.
There is a so-called “dirty” tactic where a player might push the figure harder so it falls off the rails into the other team’s field, blocking their robot’s movement and making it harder for them to use it for Mission 14. Another unsporting move would be hitting the model too hard, disrupting Mission 4 for the other team or knocking the archaeologist off before they can send it. While these actions are possible, they go against the spirit of the competition and will most likely result in earning no points for some of the other components of the competition — and if fair play is broken, your overall ranking in the competition will be much lower.
Finally, even if you touch the model at the end of the robot game, it may cause the cancellation of your Mission 04 result, since Missions 03 and 04 are done using the same model. So once time runs out, do not touch the mission model.
