This incredibly compact SPIKE Prime Box Robot is made for competitions like FIRST LEGO League (FLL) and World Robotics Olympiad (WRO). Whakatae (from Maori's word "whakataetae", which means "competitive") is long 17 LEGO units and is with a width of 15 LEGO units. In front of the wheels it has two color sensors which it uses to align. Whakatae also has two Large motors for moving and has two medium motors for attachments!

It's has "V2" in its name, because it's the second version of Whakatae - LEGO Education SPIKE Prime Competition Box robot. The difference between the two is that the first one can be built with only a Large Motor and a Color sensor in addition to the Base set, while this one needs an additional ball bearing. This provides this robot with a lot more stability and can be seen as a true upgrade to the first version.

Light Cooley is an extension of Cooley. We've added two Light/Color sensors to allow for lines to be followed and for the robot to alight to them and we've kept everything Cooley was cool and known about. Build a few attachments for it and take it on a ride for a FIRST LEGO League competition

The Bench mission in FIRST LEGO League 2020 was one of the more complex missions during the competition. It involved two things - lifting part of the mission model and bringing it back to base and in the same time dropping 4 different boxes which was difficult to achieve. We came up with two solutions for SPIKE Prime and for Robot Inventor and this is the Robot Inventor solution. Take a look. This is an pinless robot attachment designed for taking loops. It's built with LEGO MINDSTORMS Robot Inventor parts and it demonstrates how to collect a loop while moving with the robot. This is a heavy lifting attachment and it can lift mission models vertically. It is build entirely from LEGO MINDSTORMS Robot Inventor 51515 parts. This is one of the more complex and interesting attachments that we demonstrate in the course and it show how a few gear wheels and levers could be used to change the motion from circular to linear. This is powerful concept that could be very valuable during FIRST LEGO League competitions.

This is Kriket. Kriket is an example for a Box robot assembled form LEGO Education SPIKE Prime and could be used during competition like FIRST LEGO League to achieve a smooth, repeatable behaviour of the robot. In fact. this is why it was designed. The goal of Kriket is to be a "Box Robot" and to allow for attachments to be glided on top of it. The robot requires a few more parts than the standard LEGO Education SPIKE Prime + Extension sets, but it is worth purchasing and having them

This is an attachment for the Kriket box robot. It demonstrates how to build attachments that glide over the robot, are pinless and could be quickly and easily replaced and changed with another attachment. This attachment also lifts. Quite cool. Quite cool.

This attachment is part of a second version of attachments for accomplishing the M07, M08 and M15 where we have to push and collect in the FIRST LEGO League 2022-2023 competition. It is for the Kriket Box Robot and we are doing this second version to make sure there are enough examples of how to use the Kriket box robot.

The interesting part about this attachment is how it connects to the robot. The Kriket has two brown axles that are connected to the motors via a gear mechanism. The attachment is attached to these brown axles which transfer the motor movement to the attachment.
