This attachment is a demonstration of how easy to detach attachment could be build for LEGO MINDSTORMS Robot Inventor robot where both the robot and the attachment is from the same 51515 set. The principle is useful for accomplishing missions where the mission model should be placed on the FIRST LEGO League field and in the same time should be supported in a way. This attachment is designed to be thrown back to the base, with the lifted model it collected, before the robot returns, so the team can start loading the model to the next attachment, while the robot is still moving. This is done, so that the team loses less time switching attachments in the base, lowering the chance of human error during the competition.

A FIRST LEGO League 2023-2024 attachment for the MiniBox Robot.

This attachment uses rubber parts to compensate for the lack of precision in positioning the robot near the mission model. That was needed since at the time that this attachment was used, the robot had moved a long distance since its last aligning at a wall or other mission models.

This attachment is designed to keep the model from coming undone when dropped from a higher distance. It was done so that the robot could use a higher-position attachment to deliver the model while using lower-placed attachments to solve other missions in the same run.

This LEGO attachment connects a LEGO Mindstorms EV3 Motor with a LEGO Technic Linear Actuator. The connection is through a couple of gears which makes the whole instructions quite interesting and useful as an example.

For the FIRST LEGO League 2016-2017 Animal Allies we prepared an attachment for lifting the robot. The idea of the attachment is to show how you could lift the whole robot with a system of gear wheels, levers, and scissors constructions.
