Explanation of the challenge
You have a robot with an Ultrasonic Distance Sensor.
The robot must do a scan around itself like a radar. During that scan, the robot measures the distance to the objects around it. After the scan, the robot must display the distance to the closest object around.
Additional challenge
After the scan, the robot must turn and point to the closest object.
Limitations and freedoms
The number of objects around the robot is arbitrary, there could be only one object or many objects. The closest object can be at any position: first, last, and everything in between.
Robot design
The challenge is applicable to any kind of robot. The robot could be a mobile two-wheeled model with an Ultrasonic Sensor or stationary turret-like robot.
