Building instructions for a LEGO Mindstorms EV3 robot where the motors are placed in an unusual manner. They are vertically placed on the sides. This robot construction base is very convenient for a quick and interesting robot on which you could build.
This LEGO Mindstorms robot base is small, compact and packed in a very small volume. The goal of this constructions is to be used as a base and to show yet another way to experiment with adding motors to the brick.
Building instructions for a safe mechanism. The medium motor can be used for dialing in the key lock. The brick buttons can also be used for a pin code input.
One of the large motors unlocks the latch, the other one opens up the lid of the safe.

Maze Runners are one of the very popular robotics competitions. But there are a lot of limits that the robots must comply with. Like the size of the robot.
This here are building instructions for a very small maze runner robot, build with LEGO Mindstorms EV3. It uses two tires that are technic and not Mindstorms simply because none of the Mindstorms tires fit the size limit.
The robot has an Ultrasonic sensor and a Gyro sensor at the top.

In all building instructions for LEGO robots it is important to have the motors attached to the brick in more than one place. In the following construction, there is a beam connecting the two motors which has exactly this purpose. It makes the construction much more stable. Try removing this beam for example and see what will happen. Would the robot be able to move?
Many different types of wheels could be used. Both NXT and EV3 or from other LEGO technic series.
This is a garbage container—and it’s fun! Like most real garbage containers, it has only three wheels because one is missing. You’ll also notice that one of the wheels is slightly different and tilted to the side—just like the real thing.
The container is great for play and for storing small items inside.
Suitable for children aged 6–10. Build the garbage container and leave it out for a week—children will naturally engage with it and are likely to spend at least an hour playing with it over the course of the week.

This construction has some difficulties turning to the left and to the right. But if you have to take on an obstacle that high this is one of the options.
You can use all kinds of wheels on this robot - EV3, NXT or others. It doesn't actually matter.
Not all LEGO Mindstorms EV3 Robot should be aligned horizontally or vertically. It is quite possible to have the brick and the motors attached in such a way that the robot is at a certain angle.
This is a very useful small construction that could be used as a base and extended with hands and heads or other interesting ....robot body parts.
One LEGO gear is powering two LEGO Gears and at the end, from one motor we rotate two axles in opposite directions. Follow the building instructions.

Tricky might be the smallest Mindstorms 51515 Robot Inventor robot, but it's definitely one of the greatest. If you build Tricky with this particular Basketball attachment and grab the Mindstorms/Duplo ball, which is included in the set, you'll unlock a whole new level in playing basketball at home. One pumpkin spice latte coming right up! This robot is made to serve the best drinks in the whole continent! It is one of the simpler robots that can be made with the LEGO SPIKE Prime set and it uses two medium motors to move around. The coolest part about the robot is the cup holder where a "cup" can be attached or removed. Bottoms up!
You remember Mighty Coffee? Well, my wife is looking at me building Mighty Coffee and is like "Why can't we have a beer?"...yes, the world around me. At the end of the day we had a Mighty Coffee and MBEER and we realized that both of these are not appropriate for 6-10 years old, but nevertheless the children had a lot of fun with them. They were pouring coffee in the beer mug, then put the whole Mighty Coffee into the beer mug they played probably for about an hour. Built from LEGO SPIKE Core set 45678 + LEGO SPIKE Expansion Set 45680 this beer mug is just clean and beautiful. Only with blue frames. As an engineer I tried to construct it the first time with the children and then ask them to construct it without following instructions. Try it. It is like a puzzle. Build it the first time with the 3D Assembly Instruction and the second time without any instruction.
Play time for a week: ~1-2 hours in total.
