This is Kriket. Kriket is an example for a Box robot assembled form LEGO Education SPIKE Prime and could be used during competition like FIRST LEGO League to achieve a smooth, repeatable behaviour of the robot. In fact. this is why it was designed. The goal of Kriket is to be a "Box Robot" and to allow for attachments to be glided on top of it. The robot requires a few more parts than the standard LEGO Education SPIKE Prime + Extension sets, but it is worth purchasing and having them

Thinking about box robots with LEGO Education SPIKE Prime, Boxver is a good example. It is tiny, kind of small and has the brick in a vertical position. Two motors at the front. The goal of this robot is to achieve reliability and consistency of the behaviour of the robot. Check the courses for this robot.

This incredibly compact SPIKE Prime Box Robot is made for competitions like FIRST LEGO League (FLL) and World Robotics Olympiad (WRO). Whakatae (from Maori's word "whakataetae", which means "competitive") is long 17 LEGO units and is with a width of 15 LEGO units. In front of the wheels it has two color sensors which it uses to align. Whakatae also has two Large motors for moving and has two medium motors for attachments! The best part is that in order to build this SPIKE Prime Box robot you only need the Base set, a Large motor and a color sensor.

It's has "V2" in its name, because it's the second version of Whakatae - LEGO Education SPIKE Prime Competition Box robot. The difference between the two is that the first one can be built with only a Large Motor and a Color sensor in addition to the Base set, while this one needs an additional ball bearing. This provides this robot with a lot more stability and can be seen as a true upgrade to the first version.

The story goes like this. Two engineers meet at a bar (or on discord during the pandemic) discussing which robot to use for this year's FIRST LEGO League 2020 Replay Solution and Review with explanations. They started their cameras, had a hot Carolina Reaper, had an argument, hugged each other, and decided to build Gazon, and use this new robot for the competition. So here it is. Small, 4 motors, 2 color sensors, stable, light.

Light Cooley is an extension of Cooley. We've added two Light/Color sensors to allow for lines to be followed and for the robot to alight to them and we've kept everything Cooley was cool and known about. Build a few attachments for it and take it on a ride for a FIRST LEGO League competition

We took a stab at building a box robot entirely with chains. It is difficult to find these chains. They were part of the original LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT Robots, but we had an idea. Can we power the whole box robot and all the attachments with the chains. This allows us to do a nice demonstration when and how chains could be used.

To build the robot you will need about 180 of these the chain pars - 3711a. They could be found from NXT and from some technic sets.

This is Cooley, and, it, is, coooooool. It got all the stuff the cool kids have - two motors at the top, two at the bottom, two wheels on the side and it is slim. Build a few attachments for it and take it on a ride during FIRST LEGO League competition

This is a version of the Gazon robot that has a single color sensor and is useful for cases where you still have not purchased a second color sensor, but need to start working on the FLL competition season missions

This is the robot that we use to demonstrate a solution for competition. This is a Post season solution. We never release any solutions during the season as this will have a negative impact on the competition. But after the competition we try to make a review and to see how we could have accomplish it. Our goal is to be better for next year.

This robot is quite powerful. The attachment mechanism on the front is one of a kind as it can do several things with a single motor: it can lift, it can unlock, it can grab. All of this thanks to the unique mechanism of gears

This is the robot that we use to demonstrate a solution for the World Robot Olympiad 2021 Junior competition. This is a Post season solution. We never release any solutions during the season as this will have a negative impact on the competition.

Zat is fun. Zat is great. It is a simple construction for a car with 4 large wheels. And who does not like cars with large wheels. Built from LEGO SPIKE Core set 45678 + LEGO SPIKE Expansion Set 45680 we had a lot of fun with it on Sunday. It was an idea of my wife and the kids took a lot of time putting things on in and moving it around. Just put things on it and play with it.

Mitko is an example for a small robot from LEGO Education SPIKE Prime. It has no sensors, but it has a big container, like a big mouth. So it can collect things, although it can not see them. Like a small animal that is blind, but hungry. Mitko could be used as a base for a robot that needs to collect. In was one of the versions of a robot that we used for a World Robot Olympiad competition.
