This is the second version of the EV3 Easy Bot. The robot is used in classes with students as one of the first robots to be built. Easy to follow and to arrive at a construction even for first-time students.
We are already familiar with the Gyro sensor and we know how to use it with the Wait Block and wait for a comparison to return true. But what is the other setting ('change') of the block doing?
The goal of this lesson is to combine and exercise with material from the whole level. We are also showing the students how to use their custom My Blocks.
Did you know we can set the program to use the brick buttons?
We are sure you've seen the gears in the LEGO Mindstorms EV3 sets. They are pretty easy to use. Just add an axle and you can now rotate them. Add two gears working together and you can do miracles, like a magician. And if you put them perpendicularly to each other it gets very interesting. This is our goal with the MotoCar robot in A robot a 'day'.
This attachment accomplishes the Into Orbit Space Walk Emergency mission from the FIRST LEGO League Into Orbit 2017-2018 competitions. The base robot is the SUV Competition Box Robot from LEGO Mindstorms EV3.
The program for this attachment is at Programs/w415dz-fll-2018-attachment-to-accomplish-the-into-orbit-space-walk-emergency-07-robot-game-missions-program.
Soon we would publish and a video of how the attachment works.
