For World Robotics Olympiad Ball Collection competitions we prepared an interesting Robot Base Chassis that could be extended with a container. The container contains the ping-pong ball. A mechanism collects them. This LEGO Mindstorms EV3 building instructions are for the chassis of the robot and were one of the versions from a series of robots.

Advanced LEGO MINDSTORMS EV3 Construction. It has two rear motors and it could rotate the whole from part. It has 4 wheels and is kind of like unique in the Mindstorms world.
Building instructions are not very easy and you need LEGO Education Core and Extension Sets - 45544 and 45560.
Apart from being advanced, it is also quite fun to try to build.
This construction uses a differential. Both wheels could turn with different speed and this makes a construction much more stable when turning.

You can position the motors on the construction in a number of different ways. We are exploring the advantages and disadvantages of each of them. These are building instructions for the first way to position the LEGO Mindstorms EV3 motors.
This is a vehicle that is used to help you to learn programming, to experiment with addons, attachments and constructions. It has a frame. Which is nice. A frame is always nice.
It has two wheels at the back, but this is needed only if you have them.
Dwell is a car built with a LEGO MINDSTORMS EV3 set. It uses the medium motor for powering the back wheel and one more medium motor for rotating the front wheels and thus turning. Of course, there is a differential at the back.

An awesome ski-jet robot, steering with a medium motor and powered by a single large motor. It also has a pair of inclined treads, making it especially well-suited for the harsh winter terrain.

This is a small VEX IQ truck that have one and only one reason to exist. The reason is to teach students to drive by practising diving with it.There is nothing that makes the Little Truckie happier than driving.

Here is Comet. It is a fast LEGO Mindstorms EV3 Car robot that looks like F1 Racing Car. We've especially designed it to be controlled with the remote control to make it extremelly easy to download the program and start playing with the robot. It also has the option to "press the pedal" (increase the speed) with just the remote control. Check it out.

Here is Iknathir - a LEGO Paper Plane Launcher. Just take a piece of paper, fold it to create a paper plane, place it on top of Iknathir, press the lever forward and the plane will be launched in the air. The Telephone game is played with 2 or more robots and is extremely funny. Each robot has a color wheel that can be rotated through the medium motor and a color sensor. The first robot on the left rotates the color wheel to a random color. The second robot must detect the color on the wheel and rotate its color wheel to this color. The third detects the color wheel of the second and so on.
