FLL 2022: Drop, Pull, Lever, Collect, Deliver - 5 missions with Kriket box robot accomplishing M14, M05, M06, M04, M09 Pro Preview

This tutorial demonstrates how we accomplish 5 missions in a row with a single robot and three attachments. This is a true multiple missions run for the FIRST LEGO League 2022-2023 SUPER POWERED. We Drop parts, we pull from the Smart grid, we push a lever, we collect a few energy units and we deliver the dinosaur toy.

In this video tutorial we accomplish five missions with the Kriket box robot along with a couple of attachments. First, the Toy Factory, then the Hybrid Car. All the missions are from the FIRST LEGO League 2022, SUPERPOWERED. Then, the Smart Grid mission, where we have to pull on the mission model. We have to collect some of the Energy Units that we have on this side of the field, and we have to return back to base while carrying the Dinosaur Unit. This is like five missions in single run, with a single robot, with a single program. Let's see, five missions, single run. The robot moves. First mission - Toy Factory - where we drop precisely. Second mission - Smart Grid - where we pull. Then, a lever mission, the Car. We collect a few energy units, and then we return to base, carrying and delivering an object.

As it is a complex setup of attachments and robot, let's look at how we prepare the robot in the base. First, we attach the attachment that we need for the Toy Factory mission. It is a precise drop attachment, and we'll see how exactly it works when we demonstrate the mission. But we have to attach the attachment right here on the backside of the robot.

Then we have to configure the attachment. And I'll explain this when we get to the mission so that you can see it. We load all of the energy units that we need to drop into the Toy Factory mission model. And this is how we prepare this attachment. It takes some time, but as there are at least two people during the competition, it should be fine. Second, we have an attachment that we use to hold the dinosaur. Now, you might go without an attachment. We decide to go with an attachment. The energy unit is inside of the dinosaur, and the attachment helps us keep the dinosaur toy on the road when we are moving. Let's see. We take the attachment and put the dinosaur on the attachment. It's like on the belly of the attachment, it goes like this. So, there is this line in the dinosaur toy,

and we connect the two of them. We connect the two of them. We put the dinosaur toy on the robot. It doesn't matter where exactly, but trying to keep a balance here, somewhere in the middle. Third, very popular, and we need it for this particular robot. We need an instrument that we can use to align inside the base. Inside the base. We use this instrument that we've built from Lego parts, and we use this instrument to align the robot. And in this way, we can start in the same way in each run. So, these are all the attachments. And this is how we set up the robot in base. For your robots, try to have a tool for aligning. For the Toy Factory, it is a precise drop. Move, and we drop. The trick is in the attachment. It has a part, it moves away. Everything drops. From another angle: just to make sure that we can see how we precisely drop the parts. There is a part that's holding all the energy units. And when we push, it is released. And in this way, we precisely drop all the energy needs. Next mission is the Smart Grid mission. And for this mission, we must pull on the mission model. And when we pull on the mission model, it will lift a hand, and it will connect with the grid. That's the goal of the mission. Now, the robot is moving. It comes, it lowers the attachment, and it pulls. This is how, with the same attachment, we can accomplish many different missions. The Electric Car is the next mission, where we have a lever mission. We must push on the lever. Move with the robot, we lift the attachment. One more mission accomplished. It is worth seeing the electric car from another angle, where we must use the lever. And this lever will push on the mission model. That's the car. And car will go down on the ramp. The robot is coming our way, uses the attachment. This is how we accomplish this lever mission. Next mission, collect the Energy Units and bring them back to base. The robot moves. It's now accomplishing the other missions. The dinosaur toy is on the robot. Now, with the same attachment, it will come, will collect the first energy unit, then the second, and will go to base, where we can take the dinosaur toy out, and we can collect all the things.
