An arc turn is a turn where both wheels are going in the same direction, but one is going faster.

To program the robot to make an arc turn, we use the third block of the Movement palette. This is the block for movement with direction control.

The block has a movement length setting that works the same way as in the first move block. Here's how it affects the length of the turn:

Of course, there is also a setting for the direction, which, unlike the first block, is much more precise.

The direction can be set from -100 to 100, at these values ​​the robot turns left and right in place. For all other values, the robot turns in an arc, and the higher the number, the sharper the turn. Here's how the direction setting affects:
