What is a color? How does our robot detect it? Learn that here!
In the LEGO Mindstorms Robot Inventor set there is only one color sensor. The original Gazon is build from LEGO Education SPIKE Prime where there are two light sensors. The idea behind this robot is to be able to build it from Robot Inventor and to use it during FIRST LEGO League competitions
What Is a Hall Effect Sensor?
A Hall Effect Sensor is a small electronic component that detects magnets. When a magnet comes close, it sends a signal to other devices, like an Arduino or an LED light. Think of it as a tiny switch that turns on whenever a magnet is nearby.
This robot is made to serve as a cautionary tale for the line following robots with exposed to the ambient light sensors.
The force sensor can detect how hard it’s being pressed! Here’s how:
Following the previous tutorials from the course, implement the calibration of the minimum and maximum values.
With this 10 runs we demonstrate the consistency and reliability that could be achieved with a LEGO Education SPIKE Prime robot and a 2-states simple line following algorithm. It is not bad. Still there are some things you should consider when using this program and one of the things is the use of the timers
This package contains the three blocks used in the advanced calibration section of the FLL course.
The blocks contained are:
