Introduction

In this lesson, you are going to build Pallo - the SPIKE Prime catapult with a target robot! The robot consists of two parts: the catapult and the target. The catapult uses rubber bands to launch a projectile and features an axle mechanism to keep it loaded. It contains no electronic components—because it’s just too much fun to fire it yourself!

The second part is the target. It includes a piston with differently colored sections. When the piston is hit, it moves, and a color sensor detects the impact! The colors are arranged like a real target: yellow at the center for a perfect hit, followed by red for a near miss, and blue for the outermost area. The target's program makes it celebrate when a hit is detected!
