This attachment demonstrates the principle of dropping a part inside a container. It uses parts only from the LEGO MINDSTORMS Robot Inventor 51515 set. The goal of the attachment is to release a lever that is holding the wheel.

This is a complex three parts attachment for the FIRST LEGO League 2020 Replay competition mission called Boccia. The attachment does three things in the same time. It can align to a mission model, It has a contained for boxes that should be dropped and it also has a lever to rotate the boccia target mission model. On top of the that the attachment is working 10 out of 10

This is a LEGO Education SPIKE Prime robot attachment for accomplishing the FIRST LEGO League 2020 Replay Boccia mission . The attachment is designed for Gazon, LEGO Education SPIKE Prime competition robot.. With this attachment we follow the line with the robot until we reach the team mission and we use the lever on the top to push the blue box. Then we follow the line to reach the Boccia mission, and three things happen: 1. align to the mission model with the front of the attachment, 2. turn the lever to release the green boxes and 3. move the lever to push on the mission model. This is a complex mission requiring a lot of coordination from the robot. Quite interesting I must say.

The goal of this robot attachment is to demonstrate a principle and example for dropping an object. It's built with LEGO Education SPIKE Prime parts and could be used in competitions in robotics like FIRST LEGO League/World Robotics Olympiad. It's designed for Luly, small LEGO Education SPIKE Prime competition robot with 3D building instructions. The Bench mission in FIRST LEGO League 2020 was one of the more complex missions during the competition. It involved two things - lifting part of the mission model and bringing it back to base and in the same time dropping 4 different boxes which was difficult to achieve. We came up with two solutions for SPIKE Prime and for Robot Inventor and this is the Robot Inventor solution. Take a look. Mission

The robot needs to send payload rockets (carts) rolling down the space travel ramp. The first cart is preset and ready to go, but the robot needs to load the other two from the base.

Scores

• Vehicle payload rolled down the space travel ramp: 22
• Supply payload rolled down the space travel ramp: 14
• Crew payload rolled down the space travel ramp: 10
• Possible scores: 0, 10, 14, 22, 24, 32, 36, 46

Scoring Requirements

• For each roll, the cart must be independent by the time it reaches the first track connection ramp. > Note: Only allowed method. Must be observed by the referee.
• Start each payload clearly rolling down the space travel ramp. > Note: Only allowed method. Must be observed by the referee.
• As a mission requirement in any mission, the word “independent” means “not in contact with any of your equipment. > As long as the cart clearly rolls independently past the first track connection, it’s okay if it doesn’t roll all the way east.
