When we work with any sort of program, we need to save our files regularly to our computers. Afterwards, if we want to work on an old file, we need to load it from the computer.
Now we will learn how to do that in Scratch.
When we work with any sort of program, we need to save our files regularly to our computers. Afterwards, if we want to work on an old file, we need to load it from the computer.
Now we will learn how to do that in Scratch.
In order to save a program, you begin from the same place where you would save it, namely the "File" button.
After that, go to and click the "Load from your computer" and select the program you wish to load.
After you have chosen the file, it's time to program!
This Tutorial is used in the following courses and lessons
"Keep 'em clean" is a game that uses the players' real-life movement captured by a camera to control many "people" and push them towards a sink where they wash their hands! In this course, you will learn the basics of programming with Scratch, as well as using the "Video Sensing" extension to receive movement from the camera!
Now that we have a character in our game, it's finally time to learn how to move it using our camera.
What do you think the camera detects? Would it be better to move slower of faster? Why?
You will find the answers to these questions by the end of this lesson!

In the previous lesson we programmed our character to move left and right. The next step is to be able to control it all across the screen!
How do you think this is going to happen? Will it actually work?
Of course it's going to work and now we will see how!
