Building instructions for this LEGO Mindstorms EV3 attachment for the FIRST LEGO League Nature's Fury robotics competition
This is a LEGO Education SPIKE Prime robot attachment for accomplishing the FIRST LEGO League 2020 Replay Boccia mission . The attachment is designed for Gazon, LEGO Education SPIKE Prime competition robot.. With this attachment we follow the line with the robot until we reach the team mission and we use the lever on the top to push the blue box. Then we follow the line to reach the Boccia mission, and three things happen: 1. align to the mission model with the front of the attachment, 2. turn the lever to release the green boxes and 3. move the lever to push on the mission model. This is a complex mission requiring a lot of coordination from the robot. Quite interesting I must say.
The Chain Monster is one of the coolest Box Robots that we've built. But what is a robot without attachments that can accomplish missions? These here are 3D building instructions demonstrating how the frame for the robot could be built. We've discussed frames in the Box Robots courses for EV3. Take a look at this one. See if it can inspire you to build robots and attachments in certain way to achieve consistent and reliable robot behavior.
This is an attachment for the top of the robot and the attachment is used for lifting different parts. It is reusable as we could change the lever and use the attachment for a number of different missions.
This is a LEGO Education SPIKE Prime robot attachment for accomplishing the FIRST LEGO League 2020 Bench mission . The attachment is designed for Gazon, LEGO Education SPIKE Prime competition robot.
- you should attach it to the motor, depending on the orientation of the motor.

This reusable attachment could easily be placed on the side of a LEGO MINDSTORMS Robot Inventor robot and accomplish different missions that require the robot to interact with mission models. It uses gear wheels.
This attachment demonstrates pushing and pulling with a circular motion. It is useful for FIRST LEGO League competitions where you can grad a mission model and bring it back to base or push/pull on a lever.
This is a LEGO Education SPIKE Prime robot attachment for accomplishing the FIRST LEGO League 2020 Replay Tire Flip mission . The attachment is designed for Gazon, LEGO Education SPIKE Prime competition robot.
LEGO Mindstorms Robot Base for a high placed attachment for containing ping pong balls. It is interesting how the balance is achieved with such an attachment. It was only one of the version in a series of LEGO Mindstorms Robots for World Robotics Olympiad.
- note that you could attach it to the brick both sides, depending on which technique you would like to test. Use the video as a reference.
This is the robot that we use to demonstrate a solution for the World Robot Olympiad 2021 Junior competition. This is a Post season solution. We never release any solutions during the season as this will have a negative impact on the competition.
We started with this robot and it has a few good ideas. It can collect two cars at the same time. We later decided to go for a more powerful robot. Check out WRO 2021 Junior: Slaimi - a post season WRO competition solution robot
An attachment for accomplishing the Cargo Connect M01 innovation project model mission. It is used to guide the mission model.>
This attachment demonstrates the principle of dropping a part inside a container. It uses parts only from the LEGO MINDSTORMS Robot Inventor 51515 set. The goal of the attachment is to release a lever that is holding the wheel.
This is an attachment positioned below the robot and used for when we need to push something with the robot. It keeps the cargo in place while pushing. In this way we can achieve a consistent behavior with the robot, which is what we all want
