Teacher's Note: Fixing the Frog's legs so that it can jump Pro Preview

The following tasks aim at showing the friction effect. Let a robot move on stone/wooden floor and then on a carpet or surface which creates more friction (vinyl fields are very suitable for the experiment) and the frog will instantly start moving. An important feature of friction is that it is created between two surfaces which means that we should increase the friction between the surface and the legs of the frog so that it can jump. As it is difficult to change the surface of the floor, students’ task will be to put something under the feet of the frog in order to increase friction.
