There is an ongoing process of documenting the processes of conducting a robotics academy. So far we have the following tutorials in the Academies course:

[Curriculum-1.0] Create Lesson 4 of Level 4.5

Created the fourth lesson in level 4.5. The topic of the lesson is making a complicated sumo robot. The students have the task of programming it with a strategy, that uses 2 or 3 sensors. For now it is still mostly in bulgarian, but it will be translated. Thumbnail for lesson 4 level 4.5

Lesson 6 is improved in level C1.

The lesson teaches about three state line following with a steering mechanism. The students build a car robot so that it can follow a line. The lesson is still only in Bulgarian, but it will be translated soon.

Description:

"In this level, students develop a memory training game. The player must remember series of actions like press a button, shake a pole, pull a lever, show one of many colors. In order to program the game, students use many variables and modify their states. Students create their own custom sounds and images, in order to reflect their own personality in the game. In the end of the level, the game stores top scores even after a full shut down with the help of text files."

Lesson 4 from course 4.0 was created. This lesson teaches the students how to create and read from text files. It expands greatly, on what is possible to program with the EV3 MINDSTORMS program.

Lesson 3 from course 4.0 was created. It builds on the second lesson from the course and teaches the students how to import their own sound and image files in LEGO MINDSTORMS.

Lesson 5 from course 4.0 was created. It builds on the fourth lesson from the course and helps students practice using switch blocks inside other switch blocks, to create a chained result, and how to control the chance of getting a certain result with the random block.

Lesson 6 from course 4.0 was created. It builds on the fifth lesson from the course and it teaches students how to program counters and create a scoring system for a game.
