We have provided the building instructions for this robot as part of the whole course

Box Robots for competition (this will require a course subscription)

English

The box robot has the shape of a box and you can easily add attacments on this robot. Like this. So, it's very fast and very easy. And in this video we'll discuss exactly the pinless attachments.

On this robot we can add attachments in the following way. We just add the attachment. And it has a shape of a box so you can prepare a number of such аttachments and you can construct them in a way that they solve different tasks of different competitons. But you have the main robot and different attachments in a similar or even the same form with the same parts ot with similar parts. Here the important thing is the principle. So you just add the attachment. It's pinless. It's quite fast. Then you start a program. And the robot continues and it solves different tasks. Now, it will require a few more parts but you can spare a part here and there. For example, you can make the whole attachment to use half of the parts and just add it here as a pinless attachment. So, there are different options. The basic idea is for you to have a pinless attachment. An attachment that you can add quite fast without the use of any pins. And from then on with the different motors you control the different attachments. Here I have a couple of examples of how we can control different attachments. And this is something that we'll take a look at in the next videos.
